I shoot commissioned portraits, street life, music, and events...

I inherited this obsession from my dad. He was a photo enthusiast in his spare time away from the general contractor grind in the South Florida sun.  At 16 I elected to take a photography class that required a camera, and he enthusiastically lent me his old Nikkormat FT. This changed my life. Like most who’ve had the opportunity, I was instantly captured by the mystique of the darkroom. I discovered a laboratory within a cave for mad science where I could burrow into my thoughts, tinker at the fray, escape the heat, and get lost...I was profoundly struck realizing photography was essentially painting with light. I dove eyeball first and I've been a Nikon shooter ever since. I never gave him back that old gun, he never asked...

I've lived in NYC most of my life and it is my home, but I love to travel.
